Silence is NOT acceptable

As a daughter, a wife, an immigrant, a human being, and a mother - I cannot be silent while there is systemic racism so pervasive throughout our society. Silence has been the oxygen allowing hate to thrive, and we must do better to acknowledge and combat it head on with our eyes and ears wide open -- if not for ourselves, then for our children.

Dream City will be adding on top of our ongoing weekly COVID relief efforts to donate funds and goods to organizations that fight racism and inequality. We are too frequently reminded that we have a long way to go. I started by personally donating $1,000 to embracerace.org to promote the awareness of inclusiveness and equality when it comes to race. I also donated $500 to NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund to help reform our criminal justice system, achieve education equity, and ensure economic justice for all.

Note that Dream City was built for ALL children, without regard to skin color, ethnicity, or background. Racism or hate will never be tolerated.

Love,

Corrie Hu

Owner and Founder of Dream City
